Trail Forged parts
Our sister company Trail Forged has been making top-tier parts in the USA since 2017. If they make a component that fits the needs of your work order, we will almost always suggest it. We know the quality is second to none, the reliability is above all others. Any Trail Forged parts we sell and install here, you automatically get a 10% loyalty discount on.
What brands do you use/install/recommend?
We only work with brands we know to be of good quality, high reliability, and superb design and function. We have a range of mid to high quality manufacturers that we can suggest. That DOES mean there are some bottom of the barrel parts that we just will not sell you.
Will you install my parts?
Yes, BUT – we have a higher customer supplied parts labor rate, there is zero warranty on any associated parts or labor, and we make no guarantees on fit, finish, performance, reliability, or any other aspect of those parts. We will install those parts to the highest standard, but no guarantee extends beyond that.
What to expect when you are here:
Customer Waiting
We are really not set up with a good customer waiting area, for jobs under 2 hours, we have a few seats in our service office available for customers. For jobs over 2 hours, we do not allow waiting on site. Good news is, Twisted Track brewpub is next door, and they have an excellent waiting area (with beer, food, and often music!).

Customers in The Shop Area
Our insurance gets very grumpy if customers walk into our shop area. As such, we do not allow customers into the working area, with very few exceptions and always escorted by a 4XF Employee and wearing appropriate clothing and safety gear.
Showroom
We do not have a “showroom” per se, other than the shop floor, which is always full of widely varied and interesting vehicles. We do also have a wall of shame, aka broken parts, and some samples of quality parts for you to lay hands on.

Warranty
- We are the best, and as such, if anything happens related to work we performed, let us know and we will make it right.
- We stand behind our work and only recommend quality parts we trust, many of which have manufacturer warranties.
Workflow, Deposits, Pricing & Billing
Workflow
- All of our workflow is handled through our shop software, including text and email messaging, estimates, repair order authorization, billing, etc. If you keep all communication leading up to, during, and after repairs to that messaging system, it is much easier for us to track and respond to quickly.
- ALL initial repair orders require customer signature and authorization prior to us beginning any work. This is handled digitally when we send you the work order via text or email.
Deposits, Pricing & Billing
- For almost all jobs, and all jobs requiring parts, we collect a deposit up front before work begins. Our deposits are the full balance of all parts, sales tax, plus 10% of labor on the work order.
- We will ALWAYS communicate with you and get your authorization if we find we need significantly more labor or parts than on the original work order. That authorization process is handled through our software via text or email. Small additions, say a few small parts, or a few minutes of extra labor, we will not always seek authorization for if doing so will hold up repairs. These instances are very rare, and don’t typically exceed 5% of the original work order amount.
- Payment amounts $10,000 or more will incur an additional credit card fee, or can be paid with cash, check, or ACH transfer. Check and ACH payments will need to fully clear before parts are ordered. Final payment must completely clear before vehicle pick up.
- For long term projects (2+ weeks) we bill for work completed every other Friday.
