Service and Sales Consultant
Location: Roanoke, VA | Full‑Time
Pay: Starting hourly pay will be based on experience with the addition of commission on billable hours sold.
We’re looking for someone who can quickly build rapport and trust with customers, understand their needs by asking insightful questions, and guide them through our well-developed sales process. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, a key player in our success, and a vital link between our clients and our technical experts.
What You’ll Do:
Build Relationships: Be a charismatic and likable representative of our company, engaging with customers both in-person and through electronic communication. Your goal is to build quick relationships and develop trust.
Consult and Sell: Use your confident and effective sales skills to consult with customers, understand their needs, and align them with our products and services. You’ll be executing a proven sales process to close deals and drive business growth.
Learn and Grow: Dive deep into the world of mechanical systems. While experience with Jeeps or trucks is a plus, your willingness to learn is what truly matters. We’ll provide you with the tools and knowledge to become an expert, but you’ll need the curiosity and drive to master the material quickly.
Execute with Excellence: This is a detail-oriented role that requires a strong work ethic. You’ll be responsible for managing tasks efficiently and ensuring every detail is handled correctly.

Experienced Technician OR Tech Apprentice
Location: Roanoke, VA | Full-Time
Pay: Starting hourly pay will be based on technical experience.
Experienced Technician:
We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated vehicle technician to join our team of experts. This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to work on exciting and challenging projects every day. From routine maintenance to building one-of-a-kind rigs, you’ll be an essential part of our mission to provide the best in Jeep, Truck, and 4×4 performance and reliability.
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and Repair: Perform skilled diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of 4×4 vehicles, including Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs. You’ll tackle everything from routine maintenance to complex engine, drivetrain, and electrical issues.
Installation and Modification: Install aftermarket off-road parts and accessories, including lift kits, suspension systems, bumpers, winches, and lighting.
Problem Solve: Use your mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills to address unique challenges and develop innovative solutions for our customers’ needs.
Maintain Quality: Adhere to the highest standards of workmanship and safety. You’ll ensure every vehicle leaves our shop performing at its best and built to last.
Collaborate: Work closely with our Service & Sales Consultants to understand customer needs and provide clear, accurate information about vehicle status and repair recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven Expertise: You have a strong background as a mechanic or technician, with hands-on experience working on vehicles. Specific experience with Jeeps, trucks, or other off-road vehicles is a significant applicant advantage.
Technical Skills: You’re proficient in a variety of mechanical and technical tasks, including diagnostics, modification, cutting, grinding, and electrical work. You know your way around both common and specialized shop tools and have a strong technical inclination.
Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous eye for detail. You understand that in an automotive environment, a small mistake can have big consequences, and you take pride in doing a job right the first time.
Strong Work Ethic: You are reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You are able to manage your time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Ability to take Ownership: You own up to all faults, mistakes, or deficiencies, and actively seeks to learn and improve from every interaction.

Tech Apprentice:
The 4XF tech apprentice program is designed for hungry, motivated aspiring techs who are looking to get into the industry but have little experience and who may not have a fully developed set of tools yet. In this program, you’ll be trained by a master technician, and learn all you’ll need to know about vehicles in our industry. A fully-loaded tool box including all new and relevant tools you’ll need for the job will be ready for you when you start. This setup will be lease-to-own, and eventually something you own outright.
Requirements to qualify for our apprentice program:
Age 18-25
Little or no self-supplied tools
Looking for long term full-time career
Hungry, committed, and eager to learn and grow
Curious and seeks to understand everything
Reliable method of transportation
